Gym Leader started with a simple frustration: gyms are full of incredible athletes competing on sims, platforms, and barbells. None of it gets seen. Results vanish, events go unnoticed, and there's no way for a gym to show the world just how good their people are. We looked for a solution and couldn't find one. So we decided to build it.
Fitness events are growing fast. The infrastructure supporting them hasn't kept up.
Events are announced on Instagram stories that vanish after 24 hours, buried in Facebook groups with 10,000 members, or passed around by word of mouth at the gym. If you're not plugged in, you miss out.
Organisers cobble together Google Forms, WhatsApp groups, and spreadsheets. They bolt together separate tools for payments and registration. Athletes fill in the same details for every event across a dozen different systems. It shouldn't be this fragmented.
You train for months, compete on the day, and your results live on a whiteboard that gets wiped the moment the venue closes. There's no history, no leaderboard, no record of your progress.
Even great event organisers struggle to reach new athletes beyond their immediate circle. Without proper tooling, scaling a competition series or building a following is almost impossible.
